When my Husband and I decided to tie the knot -- It was a nautical knot.
It was all about just the two of us; Our special day -- in our special way. There was no pomp, no circumstance, and no audio! You see, we were married under water. That's right -- A Scuba Wedding on a gorgeous, living coral reef in the Florida Keys.
With only my Husband and I, a notary public, a dive master, a videographer, a best man, a couple of friends snorkeling above us, and lots of sea life - - - we performed and completed our vows with lots of sign language and written responses to the all important questions on a waterproof tablet! That wedding tablet will always be one of my most cherished possessions.
A year later we had a casual wedding celebration. This time in a more traditional fashion - on land (with a water view) with all our family and friends present. We had fun. Everyone had a good time.
Both of us.. born under the sign of water ...We really were (and still are) "Kissing Fish"!
Hence, Kissing Fish Weddings was created. |
